Tula Rodriguez in En Boca de Todos: “Every time I try to learn politics I understand less”

Tula Rodríguez made a confession in front of her teammates in En Boca de Todos. The host, who returned with her program accompanied by political specialists to talk about the national event, pointed out that every time she tries to understand politics, she gets more confused. As you remember, the space aired only last Wednesday, April 6 after two days of absence, due to the situation.

As is known, the price increase in various products affected the pocket of Peruvians, causing several to mobilize to demand a response from the government of Pedro Castillo faced with the difficult situation they had to face.

Shortly after two weeks of the strike driven by farmers and transporters, there have not only been clashes with the Peruvian National Police, destruction of public property and looting. Unfortunately, the lives of citizens have also been lost whose causes of death are still to be clarified by the authorities.

Given this, the different television channels made special coverage, reporting through their news programs and postponing their entertainment programs. So it was in the case of America Today, In Boca de Todos and This is War. The first two returned to the air providing information on what is being experienced in Peru in the face of this crisis, from journalists and specialists.

It is in this last edition of April 7, that Tula confessed that she is trying to understand the situation, politically speaking, and she becomes increasingly confused.

“I as a housewife because I take care of my house and my kitchen, maybe politics and in those things I am quite ignorant. However, every time I try to learn what is going on, I get more nervous, and I understand less. I like to go to the market, and when I go to the market it's not what I spent before,” said the TV host, and then gave a comparison of costs, highlighting how alarmed she is about the price hike.

As you recall, the TV host also spoke on networks about what happened in recent days, and asked the protesters to demand their rights but peacefully. In addition, he advised his followers to talk about it with their grandparents and try to calm them down.

On her social network, the cheerleader said that her father was very worried about the situation and very aware of the news, a fact that altered her pressure.

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN PERU?

Last Sunday at 11:50pm, a strike of heavy cargo carriers began due to the increase in fuel and which was due to end on Tuesday night. However, the measure of strength was also taken by the Ica farmers.

In the early hours of this Wednesday, April 6, when the police sought to clear the roads, the protesters tried again to take the tracks and the confrontation with law enforcement officers began. The police were outnumbered by protesters, who ended up taking the road at kilometers 278 (Chinatown) and 290 (Expansion).

In the morning, the attack was recorded on several interprovincial transport buses. Some passengers even reported that they had been robbed and looted. There were new clashes with the police and a 24-year-old deceased (Yonhy Quito Contreras) was recorded as a result of an impact on the head.

In addition, there were also attacks on the Villacuri police station (Kilometer 276), which they had tried to burn, but the police managed to defend the police post and seek to appeal to dialogue.

After a few hours of talks, the protesters decided to open the road for two hours. They indicated that they hope to talk to some minister of state to reach solutions and demanded, among other things, the closure of the Congress. The road was taken again on Wednesday afternoon until it was cleared at midnight.
