The Singapore Sports Council has appointed TSE Consulting, the international management consulting firm specialised in sport, to conduct a comprehensive organisational excellence review of its 65 National Sports Associations in Singapore.

In line with Vision 2030, the Singapore Sports Council believes that sport is an important national strategy in developing the attributes and stimulating positive values for Singaporeans and the nation. The quality of the National Sports Associations is a key component in delivering Vision 2030 for Singapore.

The Singapore Sports Council has appointed TSE to assist in the implementation of an assessment and development programme focused on organisational excellence during 2013 - 2014. TSE has vast international experience in improving the performance of sports organisations both on and off the field of play. For example, TSE works with the Brazilian Olympic Committee and the Dubai Sports Council, among many other organisations, at both the international and national level. TSE’s extensive experience can provide the National Sporting Associations with insights and proven systems to assist them in developing processes to continuously improve their performance in an increasingly competitive sports environment.

Bob Gambardella, Chief, Sports Development & Singapore Sports Institute, Singapore Sports Council, said: "This is an exciting and important project for Singapore sports. We have brought TSE Consulting on board because of their unique understanding of our sporting landscape and of how to assist organisations to maximise their performance. We look forward to building a sustainable sports structure for the future."

Lars Haue-Pedersen, TSE Managing Director, commented: "TSE is very happy to be a part of such a forward thinking project with the Singapore Sports Council. Our combined experience assisting organisations to improve their performance on and off the field of play will certainly benefit sport in Singapore."
