Víctor Trujillo ironized with AMLO's endorsement of Adam Augusto López: “The man who lies in the morning”

Criticism continues to reach the head of the Ministry of the Interior (Segob), Adán Augusto López Hernández, after he promoted the Consultation of Mandate Revocation, now the communicator joined this Victor Trujillo.

Through a tweet, the actor who gives life to the character Brozo questioned the support that the official received during the morning conference this Monday, April 4, from President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), whom he accused of lying during the Palacio Nacional press conferences.

Likewise, continuing with the version offered by the Mexican president, the journalist shared a video of the statements of the Minister of the Interior and ironized that what is seen in the images can be “assured” not about Tabasqueño or a rally.

“It's not true. This is not a rally, nor is it the Secretary of the Interior haranging in a proselytizing campaign. This was assured by the tired man who lies in the mornings,” he wrote.

In the 25-second recording that Trujillo shared, it was possible to observe the former governor of Tabasco assuring that the population, with his vote in the Mandate Revocation to which the Mexican president will submit, will say that he is on the side of the Morenoist.

In the company of Mario Delgado Carillo, leader of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), the official pointed out that he had the authorization of the head of the Federal Executive to talk about the exercise of participatory democracy, so he was not afraid of the sanctions that could be imposed by the National Electoral Institute (INE).

He also said that if his actions caused him to be separated from office, he would stand on the streets of Pino Suarez and Niños Heroes, in Mexico City, to say that it was “an honor to have me run for supporting López Obrador.”

Faced with this act, the Mexican president came out in defense of the character of his cabinet during the press conference this Monday and explained that the official did not travel to Sonora and Coahuila to hold political meetings, but to carry out activities of Segob.

In addition, the Mexican president accused the INE of not acting with bias during the criminalization of acts in the Revocation of Mandate, since, from his perspective, political actors who are calling for abstention on election day have not been fined.

“The INE, the judge, has not acted righteously. There are elements that only those who are in favor of transformation are prevented from participating. Those who are openly calling for people not to participate are not questioned,” said the Tabasqueño.

AMLO's demands were also joined by the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, and ruled that it is time to reform the electoral body because allegedly the privileges of counselors had not been eliminated.

During the press conference that the president offered, she pointed out that a real democratic process would be for electoral councillors to be elected by voting. In addition, she pointed out that for her the INE is an “expensive” body, which has moved away from citizenship because “it belongs to a group, it is privileges and quotas”.
