Since members of the opposition voted against the Electricity Reform, managing to dismiss the initiative of Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), president of Mexico, several accusations have come from both sides.

One of the most recurrent so far, is that of “betrayal of the homeland”. While the opposition accuses AMLO, Morena, PT and the Green Party of this, the officials say the same thing about the benches of the PAN, PRI, PRD and even Movimiento Ciudadano.

The above, simply for offering a vote for or against it. The results were 275 in favor and 223 against, so the National Regeneration Movement and allies did not achieve the qualified majority.

In this regard, Gabriel Quadri, a Mexican PAN deputy, used his social networks to respond to accusations made by members of the ruling party, as well as his allies, where he has been branded a traitor for his support of the opposition bench.

It was on his official Twitter profile that he assured that treason is, in fact, some of the decisions that the members of the Morena bench have made, or direct accusations against the president such as the lack of medicines for children with cancer or the disappearance of full-time schools.

“BETRAYAL of Mexico is: surrendering the country to organized crime, killing children with cancer, increasing poverty, plunging the economy into recession, destroying full-time schools, destroying environmental institutions, eliminating day care centers, militarizing, corruption and ineptitude,” Gabriel Quadri wrote.

Opinions were quite divided, because while his supporters shared the publication more than 1,140 retweets, there were people of contrary ideology who lashed out against Quadri's response, whom they insisted on calling him a “traitor” among other things.

Then, in the same medium, he lashed out against President López Obrador, who, he assured, has incited violence and hatred against him in recent days, so he held the president of Mexico responsible if something happens to him.

“Lopez and Morena incite violence and hatred. Hell of crime. We hold López responsible for what may happen to the opposition deputies. Never had a president of the republic been so low. He must pay for this and face justice,” he wrote on his social media.

The exchange of accusations reached Mario Delgado Carrillo and Citlalli Hernández, national leader and secretary general of the National Regeneration Movement, who decided to” bulletine” to all the deputies who voted against AMLO's initiative.

The objective of this action is for citizens to identify legislators and their parties to harm them in the next elections in June for being “traitors to the homeland”, as they have been branded.

For these actions against the opposition bloc, Jorge Triana, a member of the National Action Party (PAN) bench in the lower house, reported that this Tuesday will file a lawsuit against the Morenoists for moral damage due to the campaign they initiated against them.

Finally, Jorge Triana reproached that all Morenoists are still “stuck in Sunday's vote”, since he hinted that it seems that the debate is continuing, although it culminated 48 hours ago with a negative decision for López Obrador.
