Tania Ramírez, congressman of Fuerza Popular, is on everyone's lips and not precisely because of her work as a parliamentarian, but because she recorded a TikTok dancing reggaeton at the Congress. Because of this particular fact, the civil servant has received a barrage of criticism, including that of Magaly Medina, who did not hesitate to question her for dedicating her time to this type of activity.
During the broadcast of Magaly TV La Firme, this Monday, April 11, the 'Magpie' set aside the entertainment themes to talk about the images that have gone viral on the Chinese platform. So far, the clip has more than 47 thousand views and more than 800 comments, mostly negative.
“Our Congress has become a circus, I suppose with some notable exclusions. But our Congress is sad. Look at this Fujimorist congresswoman who spends her free time in Congress, doing TikToks... she follows fashion trends, how pathetic,” she commented at first.
After that, Medina assured that it was not bad to record TikTok, as long as the Legislative Palace was respected. “You can do it at home, but in Congress you are going to work because the country has had social conflicts that have resulted in deaths. People still go to the market and find everything expensive, this country is tearing apart.”
“The woman is so unconscious and so out of her reality, that she dedicates herself to making her TikToks. She was chosen by popular vote to make a fool of herself. Why don't you all go home if that's the level of congressmen we have? What a rage, we should throw them all out,” he added furiosa.
TANIA RAMIREZ HAS NO REGRETS
After going viral on Tik Tok, the parliamentarian said that she recorded the video during a break that several parliamentarians took in the Mariátegui room. This happened after signing the law that will allow the payment of 100% compensation for time of service (CTS) to teachers.
“I took that moment to make a TikTok and I searched for that song because it inspires me to be a warrior, a fighter and to move forward. I did it with this tenor and joy,” said Congresswoman Fujimorista on RPP Noticias.
Likewise, the protagonist of the commented TikTok revealed that she likes to dance and that she has already done so on other occasions while fulfilling her parliamentary duties, so she did not rule out repeating it “as long as I do not attack, hurt, or violate any right of a human being”. When asked if he would record again in Congress, he replied: “Sure! As long as it's not something that attacks someone else, why should I limit myself?” .
According to Ramirez's statements, he is thinking of making a video about the daily routine of a congressman because he wants people, especially young people, to know what his job is like. “I feel and believe that I have not committed any crime, I have not insulted anyone, rather I have left a message to the youth that we cannot be frustrated and we cannot stay,” he said.
THE FACT: In the affidavit of income, Tania Ramírez states that she receives a total annual remuneration of S/ 13, 456. Among its properties, it registers goods for S/ 410,000, as well as a disused Honda motorcycle.
