What started as a simple rumor released by Rodrigo González on his show Amor y Fuego ended up being confirmed by Fiorella Cayo herself. The Peruvian actress and dancer announced to the media that her romantic relationship with Miguel Labarthe came to an end after two years of marriage.
During her time on the red carpet of the film “Don't tell me spinster 2″, Stephanie Cayo's sister was consulted about speculations surrounding her situation amorosa and replied that, in fact, she is separate from the businessman. “Yes, we are unfortunately separated. I always shared that we were happily married because we were. I was very happy.”
After that, Cayo explained that they decided to divorce because of the incompatibility of their personalities. “I think there was a divergence of values, I was raised by a very honest man. One can forgive some things in the spirit of trying to see things not so white, not so black, to work as a team and always improve, hold hands and be better. But finally there are things that go against your essence, you have to say so far no more.”
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SEPARATED?
When asked about when they had ended their relationship, the member of the Cayo family replied that the breakup is recent. In addition, she clarified that she still regards her husband as a great person, even though they did not agree on several things during their marriage.
“Not recently and I wish him well, he is a great person. But we weren't aligned on the same values. There are people who last for many years in a marriage because, suddenly, they have no other way out and we do,” said Fiorella Cayo.
Let's remember that the couple got married on December 1, 2019 in a 'magical' wedding held in the city of Tarapoto. The romantic ceremony was held in the Blue Lagoon with family and close friends, as evidenced on Instagram.
During the wedding vows, the actress revealed how happy her partner made her feel and emphasized that although she was not perfect, she was sure how much Miguel Labarthe loves her and how much she was in love with him.
“They said to me: You have a lot of Disney on your mind. Life isn't like that, you have to be realistic. Lie, life can be as much Disney as you want. And you, you are my Disney, my love,” Cayo said in a video posted on Instagram.
WHO WAS FIORELLA CAYO'S FIRST HUSBAND?
Edgardo Oliva and Fiorella Cayo had an 8-year love relationship and as a result of their relationship, their two children, Mateo and Facundo, were born. Their divorce was confirmed in 2011 and was, according to the actress, due to differences in characters that made their romance no healthier for both of them.
“Our characters definitely clashed a lot and there were different ways of reacting, ways that weren't very good and things happened that were already against a healthy relationship, so we had to end the relationship as spouses, but we continued to work on our relationship as parents. I've always let the father of my children into the house. (Edgardo) is a dad present because I helped make that happen,” he told Ojo some time ago.
