
(ATR)Sustainability and flexibility is needed in the management of the Olympic Games, say recommendations from Olympic Agenda 2020.
The recommendations were formulated in part by a working group led by IOC member Mario Pescante.
Recommendations
The IOC wants to reduce the cost and reinforce the flexibility of Olympic Games management. To achieve these goals, the IOC will establish "a transparent management procedure for any change of requirements."
The IOC hopes to enhance its relationship, or "maximize synergies," with Olympic stakeholders to achieve "seamless organization and reduce costs" for the Games.
In the case of situations. "Which require highly specific Olympic expertise", one recommendation calls for the IOC to provide "turnkey solutions" to organizing committees.
