(ATR) It’s been a week for the Mayor of the 2028 Olympics host city. Eric Garcetti announced he would not launch a bid to become U.S. President. He says he has a job to finish in Los Angeles, where his term ends in 2021.

This weekend Garcetti heads to another U.S. Olympic city, Atlanta, for Super Bowl LIII. The game pits his hometown Rams against the New England Patriots.

He talks with Around the Rings Editor Ed Hula about being a Super Bowl mayor, work on the Olympics nine years away, battling homelessness and the decision not to run for president.
