(ATR) Even after 40 years on the IOC, Richard Pound hasn’t seen anything like the worldwide medical crisis that has forced the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics by one year.
Pound, the most senior IOC member, has served in key posts overseeing Olympic preparations for the 1988 and 1996 Olympics, as well as chairing the IOC Marketing Commission.
He spoke to ATR Editor Ed Hula on March 27, prior to the new dates being set for the Tokyo Olympics.
