The Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games Bid Committee has today unveiled a campaign film to highlight the city’s iconic landmarks, diversity, world-class hospitality, love for Olympic sport and major event hosting capabilities.

Entitled #ShareParis, the inspirational film draws upon Paris’ status as the most shared city on social media and the city’s global appeal – highlighted by the popularity and engagement of the @Paris Twitter account which is the number one city on the social media platform with 1.3 million followers.

The #ShareParis theme is aligned to Paris 2024’s commitment to host a spectacular Olympic and Paralympic Games for everyone. It also mirrors Paris’ prestige as a number one tourist destination and a globally loved city with a commitment to delivering an amazing festival of sport and Olympism which will be shared and enjoyed by citizens in Paris, France and around the world.

In making the film, BETC and Havas Sports and Entertainment conducted a comprehensive search on social media for the most shared images of Paris to create a montage of the city’s greatest sights, landmarks and professional and recreational sports events and activities. The final movie underlines Paris’ world-famous culture and heritage while enabling the viewer to discover a cosmopolitan, engaging and passionate city built on shared values with sport at its very core.

Paris 2024 Co-Chairman, Tony Estanguet, said:

"We are delighted to launch this film to showcase the famous Parisian culture, diversity, stunning landmarks and the French public’s passion for sport. Since the very beginning of our campaign, Paris 2024 has made a commitment to engage the whole of society from athletes, civil society, Olympic experts, political leaders and young people. This innovative film is designed to bring Parisians together to highlight the city’s collective passion to bring the Games to Paris and to share a wonderful festival of sport and Olympism with the whole world."
