Easter in Peru: the emergency phones you should always carry with you

We all seek to travel to clear our minds at Easter, however unforeseen events always happen during the activity and you need help. Write down the emergency numbers you need to take with you.

The tourism sector is reactivated globally with the arrival of the non-working days of Easter 2022. And Peruvians are looking for any way to clear their minds in times of crisis on these holidays and holidays. However, there is always an unforeseen event during travel and we don't know who to ask to help.

That is what the state emergency telephones are for, where we can call the PNP, medical care, report abuse, among others. And it is important that you know their numbers and where to place them, in order to be careful during these dates, whether traveling or staying at home. Take note.

RESTRICTIONS AGAINST CORONAVIRUS

The Government has established a series of measures and recommendations at the national level to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic in Peru. As established in Supreme Decree No. 030-2022-PCM, from 1 April 2022 you must comply with the following indications on a mandatory basis:

- Respect physical distancing, not less than 1 meter, between people.

- Prioritize activities within your family nucleus.

- Wash your hands frequently.

- Wear a mask or double mask, as appropriate.

- Avoid crowds.

ENTRANCE TO BEACHES, RIVERS, LAKES, LAGOONS AND POOLS

If you are over 12 years old and want to go to beaches, rivers, lakes, lagoons and swimming pools, you must present your physical or virtual card that proves that you have completed, in Peru or abroad, your COVID-19 vaccination scheme, and the booster dose for people over 18.

Although there is no official curfew established by the government, it is possible that municipal authorities will take measures to control access to these public spaces, so that there is no agglomeration and that this causes coronavirus infections.

In the coming days, amendments could be made to the restrictions for the period of Holy Week, non-working days in which there is a large mobilization of Peruvians and foreigners, whose main mission is to do domestic tourism on established holidays.
