Maribel Guardia reacted to Andrés Garcia's love statements: “He was the most handsome man in Mexico”

After Andrés García confessed that during his youth he was attracted to Maribel Guardia, with whom he shared credits in Pedro Navaja (1984) and formed a bond of friendship, the actress reacted very surprised to learn that he was in love with her, assured that she did not know her intentions and confessed that she also considered him a heartthrob.

The protagonist of What a mother so father! was questioned by the program Hoy about the recent statements made by Andrés García on his YouTube channel, as he confessed that during his youth he became attracted by his charms. The Costa Rican interpreter took it with grace and explained that it was until today that she found out that she had a suitor among her co-workers.

“I am amused by Andrés because he first said once that he was in love with me, that I never knew, in life he never told me anything, he was always a gentleman, husband of one of my best friends,” he declared. It should be remembered that the protagonist of You or Nobody was married to Sandra Vale and Sonia Infante, he is currently in a relationship with Margarita Portillo.

Maribel Guardia was blunt in commenting that she did not have an affair with the actor in those years, this with the intention of avoiding possible rumors, however, she mentioned that she also considered him handsome as well as most of the public.

“Never in my life, I was surprised when he said that I don't know how much [...] He is crazy, no, of course not, in life, there were no circumstances, he never declared his love to me and he was the most handsome man in Mexico,” he added.

What did Andrés Garcia say about Maribel Guardia?

The Dominican Republic native answered some questions on his YouTube channel, a space that has gained relevance in recent years because it has become the main means of communication between the actor and the public. In one of his videos, he confessed that several years ago he became attracted to the beauty of Maribel Guardia.

“Maribel is so beautiful and so sensual that I didn't think about it one day, I thought about it many days and many nights [...] Working with her was an experience that brings back many beautiful memories,” he said.

Andrés García also commented that at that time the Costa Rican was dating someone she considered her friend, even, he himself came to help him develop his career within the medium but their relationship ended badly because he was an “ungrateful person and a person who doesn't see is worth anything even if he has earned a lot of money thanks to me”.

The actor did not reveal the name of the dancer's ex-boyfriend, but he hinted that there would have been a betrayal.

On the other hand, during the same interview for Televisa's morning, Maribel Guardia shared that she does not currently do much exercise, contrary to what is she thinks, because she is very busy with her projects. It is worth mentioning that the actress retains one of the most enviable figures at the age of 62.

“Don't think that I take care of myself so much, I've become more famous for that than anything else but what's going on! I'm very lazy, I just work a lot. Now, for example, I am doing novel and theater, so I work from Monday to Monday, more than then I go to sing and I arrive without sleep, so I don't have time to take care of myself as I would like”, he explained.
