Gabriel Quadri, Mexican deputy of the PAN, was one of the guests of honor of the March against Andrés Manuel López Obrador of the Monument to the Revolution, in the City of Mexico, where he finally gave a speech on the importance of the opposition in the fall of Morena in the 2024 presidential elections, and the proposals that the opposition has prepared to return to power.

In this context, he called four main axes that should not be forgotten in the direction of the defeat of the Fourth Transformation at the ballot box. The first is to maintain the alliance between political parties and civil society.

The deputy panista assured that mistrust in political parties is justified, but he asked all those present and to whom the messages could reach, that it is not a good time to attack them, and if necessary, to vote “with their noses covered”.

“We rightly have grievances against the parties, we have mistrust against them, but please, now is not the time to air these grievances, we have to trust them. Maybe even cover our noses we have to vote for opposition parties,” said the legislator.

He also clarified that the life of the nation depends on this kind of links between society and the parties, although only with the PAN, the Institutional Revolutionary Party, the Democratic Revolution Party and although it does not belong to its alliance, he even called the Citizen Movement to unite.

In this regard, it also recommended that those present adhere to the principle of the constitutional moratorium, and demand that their local deputies no longer vote in congress and stop passing Morena's Constitutional Reforms during the next three years of government that López Obrador remains.

“This will be a fundamental signal to bring back some peace of mind, stability and certainty to the nation, and to take away the leadership flag from President Lopez. It's a fundamental thing.”

Finally, he assured that for the future of the country, it is important for the Va Por México coalition to win in the 2024 boxes, led by the opposition parties PAN, PRI, PRD, so that “the reconstruction of Mexico” begins, which, he wrote on his social networks hours later, plans to finish the New International Airport that started by Enrique Peña Nieto in Texcoco.

This march was mainly identified by the massive cries of “you finish and leave”, “empty ballot boxes” and “I defend the INE”, by various opposition contingents.

This march took place around the country, where the participants gathered at 11 in the morning in different regions to publicize their disagreement against the revocation against President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on April 10, 2022.

In Mexico City, the demonstration was called from the Angel of Independence where at approximately 11:30 in the morning, where people, dressed in white, started their way towards the Monument of the Revolution.

In addition to calling for non-participation in the consultation, the groups opposed to the so-called Fourth Transformation also demanded health, safety, employment, education and respect for the constitution. The purpose of this protest is also to defend the National Electoral Institute (INE).

Among the characters who disseminated and called for the demonstration are the names of former President Felipe Calderón, Mexican politician Jorge Triana, as well as the businessman Claudio X. González Laporte, who took up the opinion of journalist Néstor Ojeda and posted on his official Twitter account: “Not voting on April 10 is a clear manifestation that citizens are not going to be manipulated by the government of Morena and López Obrador. This consultation is a matter of little lies.”
