Real Madrid mourns the loss of former Barça president Raimon Carrasco

Madrid, 20 Mar Real Madrid, through an official statement, lamented this Sunday the death of former Barcelona president Raimon Carrasco, who led the Barça club for six months between 1977 and 1978. The club chaired by Florentino Pérez sent its “condolences, affection and affection” to all Carrasco's relatives and loved ones, as well as to his club and his fans. “Real Madrid, its president and its Board of Directors deeply regret the death of Raimon Carrasco, president of FC Barcelona between 1977 and 1978,” the Madrid entity wrote. Raimon Carrasco became president of Barcelona in December 1977. For six months in office, he managed to win a Copa del Rey after defeating Las Palmas in the final, participated in the farewell tribute match to Johan Cruyff and organized the first elections in which the members were able to democratically elect their top leader.
