After Sasha Sokol dared to speak up to tell her testimony of abuse against Luis de Llano, her friend and nephew respectively, Benny Ibarra spoke again about the difficult situation. The singer confessed that his family is going through a very difficult time after the public denunciation of his former Timbiriche partner and commented on the meaning that each of them has in his life.
The performer of Cielo, Inspiration, Sin ti and If I Can See You Again attended the Hoy program as a special guest to share some details about Cumbia Machine Tour, the concept that seeks to bring together artists from different musical genres with great representatives of cumbia internationally.
Benny Ibarra, Erik Rubín, Mia Rubín, Kalimba, Lupillo Rivera, Edwin Luna, La Sonora Dynamita, Ely Guerra, Raymix, Víctor Garcia and La Sonora Santanera are part of the poster. Its first presentation will take place on April 1 at the Arena Ciudad de México and tickets are already on sale through the Superballetes platform.

After talking about the excitement I feel about his return to the stage after the COVID-19 pandemic, Andrea Legarreta asked him to give his opinion on the publication made by Sasha Sokol as part of the International Women's Day, where she accused producer Luis de Llano of abuse, as they had a relationship when she was 14 and 39.
“It's a very sensitive issue that has caused a lot of pain in the family. Obviously Sasha's family too, she's my family, she's my sister [...] It's hard for me to talk about it because of the pain, it's hard for me because if it were really a discussion [...] 90 percent of the people out there end up using it as a cannonball,” he said.
Former Timbiriche commented that he would feel more like engaging in a conversation open to dialogue, but he cannot do so because of the controversy that arouses the statements that anyone close to those involved make. However, she mentioned that she already had the opportunity to talk, privately, with both her friend and her uncle.

“Obviously it's hard to judge, isn't it? , especially in this time when we are all tremendous vigilantes through social networks [...] Luis is a man I love very much who has been very important in my personal life and in my professional life,” he continued.
Without further elaborating on the subject in particular, Benny Ibarra sent love by blowing through a flute that is hung on his chest. As he explained, the sound it emits is the frequency with which love is refined in people. However, she also reflected on the importance of family communication and recognized the value that women have in dealing with similar situations.
“We have to be very much on top of the education of our children, it is beautiful that today's girls are much more aware of what they are going through and how to take care of themselves, it's very delicate,” he added.
