Andrea Legarreta's emotional message to Mauricio Martínez for complaint against Toño Berumen

After the complaint that Sasha Sokol made against Luis de Llano, Mauricio Martínez gained strength to talk about a very difficult time in his life: sexual abuse by the producer Antonio Berumen. Faced with this, the reactions of his collaborators were not long in coming.

Such was the case with Andrea Legarreta, host of Hoy, who took advantage of her social networks to give her friend a brief but powerful message.

“Dear @martinezmau I wish you have everything beautiful you deserve!! I love you oooo!! [sic]” wrote the show host on her Instagram.

In addition, to accompany the publication, Legarreta added a photograph where he is embracing the actor within the forum.

The actor replied from one of his Instastories and thanked his friend very much for the respectful treatment on her part.

“Thank you for the affection, respect, your friendship, for the space, for believing me... and for that hug that I needed so much and made me feel at home. I love you very much @andrealegarreta”, he added.

The reactions from netizens were swift and several of them sent multiple messages of support to Mauritius for denouncing the violence that experienced.

“May you find the justice you deserve Mau, God with you”, “How beautiful!!! Mau wish you all the success in the world!!! Andrea you are the best [sic]”, “@andrealegarreta @martinezmau two of my favorite people, I admire them so much”, were some of the mentions that appeared on this social network.

Last Thursday morning, Mauricio went to the program Hoy to talk about the complaint he filed against the producer.

“Today it fills us with pleasure because I haven't seen him personally for a long time. To a talented charm of a wonderful companion boy, who has made us feel very proud of what you have done in your career, Mauricio Martínez, thank you for your trust”, Legarreta presented him prior to the interview.

In this regard, the actor from Dare to Dream remarked that he was grateful for the space and pointed out that he had only accepted because of the great friendship he had with Legarreta, in addition to the confidence he had in the morning.

“I know that in this forum where I started my career 20 years ago, at Operación Triunfo, the issue will be treated with the seriousness it requires, without trivializing it or questioning it,” he said.

Martinez made this comment because of the strong criticism he received from Pati Chapoy, the host of Ventaneando.

“But why do you think this guy from Mauricio Martínez is unpresentable, he tells pure lies (...) It is rubbish, nor to take it into account again at all,” said the entertainment journalist during the broadcast of her program.

Faced with the stir, the actor did not hesitate to respond to Chapoy's statements and on his Twitter account regretted the attacks on him:

“Without words, they could say what they want about me, but they accuse me of reason and I tell the truth. Poor Mexico. Thank God I don't live there anymore nor do I have to deal with you,” he shared about the presenters of Ventaneando.

“Even so, I send them blessings and I hope they believe victims in the future who go out to denounce their aggressors, no matter how much they know them or have worked together. I loved Luis de Llano very much because he supported me in my career, but that's not why I justify his crime or defend him,” he added.
