In an interview for the program Amor y Fuego, Keiko Fujimori's daughter pointed out that she has never been affected by negative comments from people she doesn't know, and that is something she has had to deal with since she was a child; however, she never imagined that her own ex-companions would turn their backs on her.
“If I have to say that something affected me, it wasn't the comments of people I've always had since childhood, but comments made by what I thought were my teammates, my friends, the former contestants,” she said.
Likewise, the winner of Miss Peru La Pre said that shortly after her 15th birthday, she had the idea of inviting the contestants of the beauty pageant to her party, but now she won't be able to do it.
“I'm a little sorry because I was going to invite them to my house, I was going to invite them to my fifteen-year-old, but what can be done,” she said quite seriously while her colleagues laughed about this topic.
GAELA BARRAZA ALSO DEFENDS HERSELF
Kyara Villanella was not the only one who has been harshly questioned, so was Gaela Barraza, daughter of Tomate Barraza, she pointed out that if she participated in the beauty contest it was so that people could get to know her better and not just remember her for being the daughter of a celebrity.
“Well, there will always be bad comments, all our lives and worse if there are daughters of public figures in the contest, as is the case with Alondra, Kyara and me, but we don't come here to talk about our families, but about who we really are, we,” he said.
ALONDRA HUÁRAC DOES NOT STAY SILENT
Another one who decided to answer the criticism of her former teammates, who pointed out that the contest was arranged for them to win, was Alondra Huárac, she went out to specify that instead of just questioning them they should look at what they failed to improve in the next contest.
“Unity is strength, no one has lost here, everyone has taken something and something very important, they have grown up as people. I feel sorry, I pray that these people can find happiness. We have to see what things we have lacked. Instead of looking at our side, we have to see ourselves and overcome ourselves,” he said.
KYARA VILLANELLA DOESN'T WANT TO BE KNOWN AS KEIKO'S DAUGHTER
When Kyara Villanella was asked what her motivation was for running for Miss Peru La Pre, the 14-year-old revealed that, with her triumph, she wanted to be known by her own name and not by her bond with Keiko Fujimori.
“There are many reasons why I joined this contest, as many know, it's because I wanted to flourish my inner beauty, but it's also because I don't want to be recognized as 'the daughter of... (Keiko Fujimori) '. I want to create my own name. I was very happy that I can get recognition for myself, it's something I wanted to achieve,” he said.
