(ATR) SportAccord will make a comeback in 2021 predicts Raffaele Chiulli, president of the group of stakeholders which oversee the convention designed for sport federations.
For the first time in its 18 year history SportAccord has been forced to cancel the convention. Originally scheduled for this month in Beijing, the coronavirus ended those plans. Lausanne, Switzerland was named the new host, but the Swiss government won’t permit large gatherings such as SportAccord.
Chiulli tells Around the Rings that he’s confident SportAccord will return stronger than ever next year in Ekaterinburg, Russia. He talks to ATR Editor Ed Hula in this edition of ATRadio.
