
(ATR) The ninth edition of the Peace and Sport International Forum is set to take place in Monaco from Nov. 23-25.
The three-day forum will bring together more than 500 leaders in the international sports movement, politics and the private sector to discuss opportunities to spread peace through sport.
Those wishing to attend the annual conference can now register at the early bird rate of $850. The early bird rate disappears on Sep. 30 when the rate jumps to $1077 per delegate.
This year’s edition of the Peace and Sport Awards, one of the most highly anticipated events of the forum, will take place on Nov. 24.
Registration Open for FINA Aquatics Convention
The FINA World Aquatics Convention heads to Ontario, Canada from Dec. 3-5 where organizers expect more than 1,000 delegates and a speaker list of 80 experts in the Olympic Movement.
The early bird registration is now open for the event taking place at Caesars Windsor Resort and Convention Center. Those who register before July 29 will receive the early bird discount of $500 whereas those registering on July 30 or later must pay $700 to attend the convention.
The fourth edition of the convention features the 18th FINA World Sports Medicine Congress.
The two-day congress will bring together physicians, sports scientists, health professionals as well as team doctors and coaches.
"The 2016 edition is the first time where there will be overlap of the Medicine Congress and Coaches Clinic," says Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM) executive director Dawn Haworth.
"This is an exciting new feature, as coaches, team doctors and sports scientists can benefit from the collaboration and translation of knowledge to the practical application in the pool with the athlete."
The general theme of the congress is "Swimming for Gold, Swimming for Life".
Smart Cities and Sport 2016 Registration Open
The third edition of the Smart Cities and Sport Summit will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland from Oct. 10-12.
Those seeking to expand their knowledge about how sports and cities interact in more sustainable and beneficial ways can now register for the event.
The annual summit features abundant networking opportunities with many leaders of International Federations, city and regional representatives as well as other important stakeholders of the Olympic Movement.
