The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has launched an awareness campaign that highlights the efforts and sacrifices that the Kingdom’s athletes go through to become champions.

‘You are a champ’ will be splashed across Jordan over the coming month utilizing both traditional and social media channels to ensure it inspires the next generation of champions.

The launch video focusses on the challenges that athletes face in their daily lives and how much effort it takes for them to reach the podium.

"It’s very important that people know about these athletes and what they go through to represent Jordan," said JOC Secretary General Nasser Majali.

During the launch press conference, Majali also unveiled the new JOC logo which is a modernized version of the traditional logo used for the past 12 years.

The press conference finished with Majali thanking the media for their support and for continuing to play their role in promoting sport across Jordan.
