The Attorney General's Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) reported that the arrest of a man was carried out, who is presumed to be involved in the case of the disappearance of a woman in the state of Guerrero.
The detainee was identified as David Israel “N”, a Venezuelan national, who was apprehended in the Santa Cruz Atoyac neighborhood of the Benito Juárez delegation where bags containing possible marijuana were found.
According to FGJCDMX, he was arrested for the possible commission of the crime of disappearance of a person against a man of foreign nationality, who was handed over to agents of that entity by detectives of the Investigative Police (PDI).
It was placed at the disposal of the Prosecutor for Territorial Investigation in Benito Juárez, of the General Coordination of Territorial Investigation, where they began with the corresponding investigations, the Prosecutor's Office reported in a statement.
But the individual was handed over to elements of the Ministerial Police of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Guerrero, in order to be transferred to that entity.
This is due to the fact that the judicial authority requested him because of his probable involvement in the disappearance of a woman, recorded on April 8 in Acapulco, Guerrero.
This is Nayeli Sinai Benitez Arellano, 37 years old, originally from Mexico City, who disappeared in Acapulco, in the state of Guerrero on April 8, although the record issued by the Guerrero Prosecutor's Office marks April 11, which was issued on April 17.
It details that the woman was last seen in the city of Acapulco de Juárez; she has light and long brown hair, although in particular signs she only points out that she has freckles on her face and that the dress she was wearing is unknown.
According to statements by Nayeli Benitez's relatives to local media, she was accompanied by a man in Acapulco as they were in a relationship. This is David Israel “N”, who will be investigated by the Guerrero Prosecutor's Office.
Photos of Nayeli and who is presumed to be Israel circulate on social networks, although the FGE of Guerrero has not issued any statement informing of the man's arrest.
On the other hand, the confirmation that the body found in a cistern in Nuevo León belongs to Debanhi Escobar, has outraged Mexican society.
The 18-year-old girl disappeared on April 9 after attending a party with her friends. The case outraged Neoleonans because the authorities had previously searched the place without finding anything.
In addition to the fact that the version about the 18-year-old accidentally falling into the cistern has been questioned by Debanhi's father, Mario Escobar. The latter implied that his daughter was murdered and her body “planted” in the cistern.
“There was a lot of negligence on the part of the Prosecutor's Office and what they say right now is a total lie, they planted and killed her and we have to do justice for all the people who have been through that,” said Mario Escobar when they arrived at the funeral home where they looked after the remains of the young woman this Friday, March 22.
