A few days ago, the theft of jewels from Silvia Pinal's famous house, located in J. Pedregal Gardens. And, although it turned out that the thieves could only take pieces of costume jewelry, something that caught the eye of Laura Zapata - who claimed to have been the victim of similar events in recent weeks - was the modus operandi of the robbery.
It should be noted in the first instance that it was Sylvia Pasquel, a member of The Pinal Dynasty, who revealed that a nurse and a locksmith were caught trying to enter the house after getting the fake jewelry.
She also told the media that she went with her mother to a meeting with some friends when she received a call from the nurses they hired. At that time, the employees warned her that someone named “Alejandro” called to get the jewelry urgently.
Sylvia did not give in to that message, denied everything, and warned them to ignore the call, but they showed her screenshots that a user with a misspelled name, posing as Pasquel, was trying to get hold of the jewelry.
Moments later, she called 911 to warn them that one of the nurses reported that a locksmith was already in the house trying to open the door. The other nurse allegedly grabbed all the available jewelry boxes and took them to a square near the house, but since she had no keys to return, she stayed outside.
It was before the public exposure of this information that actress Laura Zapata reacted and told in a meeting with the media broadcast on Sale el Sol that she suffered a similar situation.
“When I am reading the mode of operation I say: 'oh geez, three Saturdays ago the same thing happened to me with this mode of operating,” he said.
In this way, Zapata narrated that one day she was putting on makeup to enter the program Batallas Musicales Mexico, when something strange happened.
“Suddenly they send me messages of: 'Hey, lady, what is wrong with you? How are you? A person is talking to us and he is telling us that he has a problem. You need some papers,” he said.
Given this, the actress of Maria Mercedes, Rosa Salvaje or Esmeralda tried to remain as calm as possible to clarify the facts.
“I say: 'Let's see, take it easy, it's not me, I don't have any problem, it's someone who wants to make a fraud,” he added.
In this regard, Laura Zapata decided to play along with the extortionists and simultaneously contacted the appropriate authorities.
“A person who knew perfectly well where my papers were, what was the name of the nurse who was answering, because she was very familiar and I said: 'All right, tell her that you are going to take out the papers right now but go home. ' I spoke to the Huixquilucan police, in five minutes there were two people outside,” he added.
Regarding the robbery at Silvia Pinal's house, Laura Zapata delved into contacting the family, comparing photos and was willing to support if necessary.
“They had the same nurse as me, not the one who is in detention but the one who recommended the detained nurse. He is a person who was in his house and also who came to my house and who got him staff and me too, because he is the same person and is the cousin of Silvia's brother's wife,” he said.
