Óscar del Portal: Who is Fiorella Méndez, protagonist of the sports journalist's ampay?

Oscar del Portal went from narrating sports news to being part of the world of entertainment in the worst way. On Tuesday, April 19, Magaly Medina released images of the journalist in a compromising situation with Fiorella Méndez during a football tournament, held at a sports center in the Magdalena district.

The sports commentator never imagined that the cameras of Magaly TV La Firme were recording his every move. And the fact is that the trust he showed with Mendez on the court caught the attention of the 'urracos', who suspected that there was something more between them than a simple employment relationship.

After the triumph of her team, Fiorella approached Portal's department with a drink in her hand. Also present were Aldo Miyashiro and the former reporter Fiorella Retiz, who were caught kissing near the balcony. The meeting ended around 5:00 a.m. and each one went home, except for Mendez, who decided to spend the night in Oscar's house, where he lives with his wife and children.

At 8:00 a.m., Del Portal went to work and Fiorella went home. When she was approached by reporters, she didn't know where to hide. “What's wrong with you? More respect. No, nothing to see,” said the woman, denying having spent the night with the sports journalist despite the compromising images that are already on everyone's lips.

WHO IS FIORELLA MÉNDEZ?

Fiorella Mendez is a producer of the programs La Banda del Chino and Once Machos. At the age of 12, she worked in María Pía Copello's program, so years later she became interested in studying Communications Sciences.

She was also the partner of cumbia singer Pedro Loli. The two broke up in October 2021 and, apparently, their breakup was due to the ampay that the musical artist starred in 2019 with a woman just 19 years old, named Jamileth Resurrection.

Although the young woman declared that she was sneaking out with Pedro Loli, Fiorella forgave him and gave him a second chance. The relationship did not end up working; however, both claimed that their separation was on good terms for the welfare of their 3-year-old son.

“Pedro and I have decided to go our separate ways, making the difficult decision to end our romantic relationship. We will continue to work together and support each other in raising our child so that he grows up in a healthy and stable environment,” Fiorella Mendez wrote on Instagram.

Their cordial relationship came to an end when the television producer wrote on Instagram: “I was tolerant for several years, I kept silent out of respect, but I realized that I was never respected. It's over, no more.”
