This Monday the Mayor's Office of La Candelaria and CREA Idartes reported that they opened registration for music, theater and dance courses, in the Community Houses: Zipa, Bethlehem, Egypt and Santa Barbara. The entities indicated that those interested in participating must have the following requirements: a photocopy of the identity document, a photocopy of a public receipt not less than two months and a certificate from EPS - Sisben.

-Music: Tuesday and Thursday: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Belén Community House: 6D Street #1 -57.

-Theater: Monday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Casa Comunitaria Santa Barbara: Race 8 #6 B-#36

-Dance: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Casa Comunitaria Santa Barbara: Race 8 #6B-#36

-Street Dance: Wednesday and Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Casa Comunitaria Santa Barbara: Race 8 #6 B-#36

In addition, there are other types of free training activities at the Bogotá level, such as, for example, the call to be part of the training process 'Women Caregivers of Wetlands'. “In order to promote knowledge about the 17 wetlands that are recognized in the city, as well as all the elements of the Main Ecological Structure and, in addition, to strengthen participatory actions around the care of these ecosystems, the Ministry of the Environment opened a new training process aimed at women”, said the Mayor's Office of Bogotá.

“Through seven sessions - most of them virtual - participants will be able to learn about the ecosystem components and services of these natural areas, learn about specific cases of recovery and defense such as that of the La Vaca and Córdoba wetlands, deepen the relationship between women and the environment, and other key issues for the care for these protected areas,” explained the local administration.

According to the Mayor's Office, the virtual sessions will take place from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. between April 25 and May 6 and clarified that the last one will be on the 7th of the same month in person with an ecological walk through the La Conejera wetland.
