César Bono spoke about his current state of health, after having undergone emergency surgery due to his perforated duodenum. After the actor who plays Frankie Rivers in Neighbors went through hundreds of rumors about his alleged death, he confessed that having delivered this surgery was like a miracle.

On March 4, César Bono's daughter, María Rosa Queijeiro, announced that her father had been hospitalized in an emergency and blood donations were required for the actor because an ulcer caused him to bleed. A few hours later, it was reported that he had to be operated on in an operating room because his duodenum was punctured. The surgery was successful and the histrion is currently undergoing its recovery.

In an interview with Gustavo Adolfo Infante, Bono acknowledged that his life was in danger at the time when the bleeding he suffered caused perforation of the duodenum, and he was even informed that he was unlikely to survive.

He also said that he has decided to trust God's will and is not afraid of what might happen. “I'm a believer and I'm going to be here until God wants,” he said.

This is not the first time that the Frankie Rivers interpreter has talked like this about his life, because when he got COVID-19 he confessed that he was ready for what happened and he thinks he doesn't have much time left of life. As he shared at the time in an interview with TVyNovelas, after having suffered multiple heart attacks in 2018 and his mobility was compromised, he is aware that his health is very delicate.

On the other hand, he confessed that recovery is being painful for him since he had never had to undergo surgery before and he didn't know what it felt like after these types of interventions. He mentioned that, in fact, he was being more tomentous than when he suffered all nine heart attacks.

“I spent almost a month (hospitalized), that is, two or three weeks, I do not remember well, and I am in recovery, it is very painful because they operated on me, so now I have never had a scalpel in and I am surprised at how it hurts and how difficult the recovery is, now much more than the heart,” Bono revealed.

In addition, he confessed that he finds it difficult to talk or do any activity due to pain, so sometimes he prefers to communicate only through messages.

In the midst of the bad times that his health is causing him, he acknowledged that he is happy and grateful to his four children, as they all gathered again to be able to take care of him since his health began to decline.

And it is that on March 21, Caesar was discharged after having been in intensive care for a few days. He is now recovering in the house of one of his brothers, with whom he has lived since he separated from his wife.

Since many rumors arose about the alleged death of the actor due to his poor health, he himself had to deny that he had not survived the surgery and assured that he was stable.

“I'm fine, getting better. Thank you all for your good comments and concern,” he wrote in a tweet after coming out of surgery.
