In the mayor's office, Milpa Alta will provide financial support for students enrolled in a university in Mexico City or the Metropolitan Area.
The grants will be up to 6,875 pesos, in the call for the social program Misión Transporte Universitarios 2022 they emphasized that they seek to contribute to ensuring that students residing in Milpa Alta enrolled in public universities in the CDMX or metropolitan area can continue their studies and in order to reduce the inequality gap
Registration to take part in the program will be available until Wednesday, March 30, 2022, and those who are in the master's or doctoral degree can also do it. The amount will be granted in 4 bimonthly payments of one thousand 178.75 pesos.
What are the requirements?
* Living in the Milpa Alta mayor's office.
* Be between 18 and 35 years of age.
* Be enrolled or enrolled in a public school in Mexico City or the Metropolitan Area of the Valley of Mexico.
* That the transfer time to school is greater than one hour 35 minutes.
* Be a student or regular student.
* Have a minimum average of 7.5 in the school year.
* Not be a beneficiary of another similar program in CDMX.
* Do not have sisters or brothers who receive the same support.
* Make a socioeconomic study at the time of registration to observe the degree of marginalization and economic vulnerability.
* Make the commitment by writing to give community support according to the academic profile and specialty in order to contribute to the Milpa Alta mayor's office in different areas
* Those who are active public service workers at any level cannot be registered.
What is the documentation they ask for?
* Two copies of a valid official photo ID must be enlarged to 150%.
* The proof of studies or a document that proves to be a student with a valid enrollment and that has the overall average obtained.
* All documents must be kept in copy and original format for comparison.
How to register for support?
* Students must appear at the Morelos building located on Avenida Constitución corner with Andador Sonora in the Villa Milpa Alta neighborhood.
* Opening hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
If you have any doubts, you can ask in writing or in person at the offices on the ground floor of the Morelos building or by telephone at the General Directorate of Citizenship Construction number 55 58 62 31 50 extension 15 10; or at the Subdirectorate of Social Programs whose extension is 15 06 or in Ext. 15 07, its opening hours are from 8:00am to 9:00pm.
