In addition, Miguel Torruco made a reference to the fact that they probably received money for the video

Over the last few hours, musicians, artists and influencers released a video against the Mayan Train and the destruction that their video says it generates in the jungle in southern Mexico.

For this reason, personalities such as Eugenio Derbez, Kate del Castillo, Natalia Lafourcade, among others, won the criticism of the members of the Fourth Transformation who defended the Mayan Train.

Such is the case of Miguel Torruco, deputy of the Moreno Regeneración Nacional (Morena) bench, who released an ironic comment through his social networks, and who implied that they received money for appearing on the recording.

“They live in Los Angeles California but today they become environmentalists and $e “worry” and coordinate with a campaign against the Maya Train after the inauguration of AIFA. The Train, the Bocas Refinery and the Interoceanic Corridor will develop the much-forgotten southeast,” said the representative of the cherry party on Twitter.

The issue even reached the ears of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who touched on the subject at the morning press conference from Palacio Nacional, and said that it is a campaign against his works.

The president labeled all the personalities, besides, being very conservative and even fifis. The president strongly denied that his statements were true and argued that “they have never sought the transformation of the country.”

But he was not the only one, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, head of government of Mexico City, also emphasized that what was said in the video of the artists, singers and influencers are fake news.

During a press conference, the capital's president was questioned about the campaign, to which she replied that the characters who participated “are ill-informed”.

“That they inform themselves well, that they do not let themselves be misinformed, that they do not use fake news as their source of information, that they really review, investigate what is being done in environmental matters by the government and they are going to be surprised; just as they were surprised by the Felipe Angeles International Airport, they will still be surprised with everything the Mexican government has done in environmental matters,” he said.

Miguel Torruco jumped into political life when the Yo Soy 132 student movement exploded at the Universidad Iberoamericana during the presidential campaign of Enrique Peña Nieto, former PRI governor and PRI standard-bearer.

His political trend was clear since then, according to his curricular synthesis, he was a member of the Youth and Students movement with AMLO, and a promoter of the Youth Vote.

He was also a digital advisor for the presidential campaign and founder of the Millennials digital movement with AMLO, when Morena's candidate sought for the third time to become president of Mexico.
