The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) offers childcare services for those workers insured and registered under the Compulsory Regime of the IMSS. In this case, employees have the right to benefit from this service for their children from the time they are 43 days old and until they reach the age of four. The application for registration for infants can be made for the nursery of your choice or virtually.
To carry out the procedure, it is important to specify that they will only be able to obtain a place in the IMSS day care centers if the insured person has the right to receive the service, whether the mother or father of the minor; and that the beneficiary worker exercises parental authority and has custody of the child who will be registered in the nursery.
