The future of Juan Guillermo Cuadrado remains uncertain. The Colombian has become one of the benchmarks in Juventus, however, his renewal has not yet been consolidated, something that worries Massimiliano Allegri, since the former Independiente Medellín player is one of the most regular in the starting eleven of the season. From Italy they say he is close to signing with Vecchia Signora, however in England another club appears as an option.

Regarding the renovation, the Tuttosport portal stated that, “the Colombian is too important on the Alegri board to deprive himself of it, especially since the player himself reiterated a few days ago that he wanted to stay and that the negotiations, already started in autumn, are progressing fast.” In addition, the Colombian spoke to DAZN and stated that, “in Turin I feel very good and Juve is my family,” added the Colombian.”

Juan Guillermo Cuadrado's contract ends on June 30, however, his renewal has not reached an agreement with the Italian club, something that worries the managers and apparently there is already an interested club. Tottenham, a team in which the Colombian Davinson Sánchez is also in. According to the Italian journalist, Rudy Galetti, the English club has already contacted the captain of Vecchia Signora.

“Tottenham contacted Juan Cuadrado's agent for information. For the Colombian player, the priority is the renewal with Juventus. In the absence of agreement, Paratici would be delighted to welcome him,” said the Italian journalist.

Let's remember that Juan Guillermo Cuadrado already played in the Premier League, it was in the 2014/15 season when he left Fiorentina and signed with Chelsea by José Mourinho, however, he failed to stand out in the team, he played 14 games but did not have the confidence of the Portuguese coach, so he ended up leaving the team in the following season on loan to Juve, who would officially take over their services a season later.

One of the keys that would have made Tottenham look at Cuadrado is its current coach, Antonio Conte, who was Cuadrado's rival on several occasions when he led Inter Milan who was champion in the 2020-21 season. The Colombian could accompany Davinson Sánchez on the team, with the aim of returning to be great protagonists of the local tournament, as well as in the Champions League.

Recall that at the moment the Spurs are marching in fifth place in the table with 51 points in Europa League positions, they are three behind Arsenal who is fourth and eight behind Chelsea who is third. The competition for the championship at the top of the standings has Manchester City, the leader with 60 points and Liverpool, who is second with 59.

Another of the Colombians who currently shines in the Premier League is Luis Díaz, who signed with Liverpool in the winter market and soon made a place in the team's starting squad. The former Porto player has already scored 12 matches (between Premier League, League Cup, Fa Cup and Champions League), has scored two goals and has already lifted a title with coach Klopp.

For now Juan Guillermo Cuadrado is already concentrated with the Colombian National Team in the city of Barranquilla, where he also met Davinson Sánchez and Luis Díaz, and is preparing for next Thursday's match against March 24 against the Bolivian National Team, then they will visit the German National Team on the last date of the Eliminatory.
