IMSS and ISSSTE pension: when will retirees collect their fourth payment of the year

As every month, pensioners from the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), as well as the Institute of Social Security and Social Services of State Workers (ISSSTE) are a few days away from receiving the benefit resources, so in this digital space we will remember the dates of their payment in both cases.

This is the collection for the fourth month of the year and both IMSS and ISSSTE pensioners are paid on different dates, according to the days established by the institutes.

When are ISSSTE pensioners paid?

In the case of ISSSTE pensioners, it should be remembered that dispersals take place during the last days of each month, where just over 1.2 million people benefit.

Therefore, according to the agency's schedule of payments, older adults will receive their payment next Thursday, March 31. This is the deposit for the fourth month of the year.

The resources will have to be deposited in the bank accounts that each of the older adults granted when processing their pension.

This 2022, the collection scheme indicates that the first half of the bonus for retirees will be awarded during the first half of November. While the other 50% will arrive until January 2, 2023, along with the traditional pension payment.

When will the IMSS be charged?

In the case of seniors attached to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), they receive their resources on the first day of each month. Although, in case it is not working, then the deposit is made on the last day of the previous month, as detailed by the organization on its official website.

In this regard, the deposit for the fourth month of the year will be made next Friday, April 1.

This is a benefit for around 4 million people, who will see their payment reflected through their personal bank accounts.

While those who collect through a Retirement Fund Administrator (Afore) or insurer, will be charged according to the payment terms that these institutions submit.

It will also be necessary to remember that the IMSS has presented a series of health recommendations, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which continues to affect millions of people. In this way, retirees should consider them to avoid further infections.

For their part, it should be remembered that thousands of seniors enrolled in the Welfare Pension program have already started to collect the resources of that economic support provided by the Mexican government.
