After a goalless first half, Napoli piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Victor Osimhen finding the net, at 81 minutes. The game ended with a 1-0 home victory.

Torino brought on Ben Lhassine Kone, Alessandro Buongiorno, Tommaso Pobega, Andrea Belotti and Magnus Warming, to replace Rolando Mandragora, Ricardo Rodriguez, Karol Linetty, Antonio Sanabria and Ben Lhassine Kone.
There were bookings for Kalidou Koulibaly and Andre Zambo Anguissa from Napoli. For Torino, Ricardo Rodriguez, Karol Linetty and Tommaso Pobega saw yellow.
Napoli will play away against Roma, while Torino will face Genoa at home.
