(ATR) Delegations from Almaty and Beijing were in Lausanne on Tuesday to hand in their bid books to the IOC.

Just two candidates remain in the quest to host the 2022 Winter Olympics. The host will be selected this summer at the IOC Session in Kuala Lumpur.

Regardless of which candidate is chosen, 2022 will mark the third consecutive Olympics in Asia after PyeongChang 2018 and Tokyo 2020.
