London 2012 test event tickets on sale tomorrow: Gymnastics, Track Cycling, Diving

Tickets for London 2012 test events go on general sale tomorrow, 17 November, at 10:00am giving fans the opportunity to watch international competition in Olympic venues from £5.

Britain's top athletes from Gymnastics, Track Cycling and Diving and will compete against the best in the world as they continue preparations for the London 2012 Games.

International Gymnastics, a qualification event for the London 2012 Olympic Games, will be a competition priority for the British men's team- including 2008 Beijing Olympic medallist Louis Smith -who have yet to qualify for the London Games. Double Olympian Beth Tweddle may compete for the women's team at the event, which is split up into three disciplines Artistic, Trampoline and Rhythmic and takes place at the North Greenwich Arena (known as The O2) from the 10-18 January with tickets from £5-£20.

The UCI Track Cycling World Cup presented by Samsung will bring the best track riders from around the world to London and will be the first opportunity for the likes of Sir Chris Hoy and Victoria Pendleton to compete in the award winning Velodrome. Tickets to the event from 16-19 February range from £10-£40.

The last opportunity for athletes to qualify for Individual and Synchronised Diving at the London 2012 Olympic Games will take place at the 18th FINA Diving World Cup 2012 from 20-26 February. Ticket holders, paying from £5-£30, can watch Britain's best Olympic Diving hopes, a team likely to include Tom Daley, compete against an international field under the innovative curved roof of the Aquatics Centre.

UK Sport have supported the Track Cycling and Diving test events as part of their commitment to distribute funding to host major sporting events in the UK.

London 2012 Director of Sport Debbie Jevans said: "Throughout January and February we will deliver test events for three of the most popular Olympic sports. With tickets on sale to the public this is a fantastic opportunity to see international competition, in some cases Olympic qualification events, within the Olympic venues where we will host the 2012 Games. With some of the best British sporting talent planning to compete there I'm in no doubt these tickets will sell out fast."

Tickets for the International Table Tennis Federation's Pro Tour Grand Finals at ExCeL from 24 - 27 November are already on-sale through the English Table Tennis Association (http://www.etta.co.uk/grand-finals). A limited amount of tickets are left following a popular sale to see British hopefuls at the British Swimming Championships in the Aquatics centre from 3 - 10 March, tickets went on general dale in early November through the British Swimming website (http://www.swimming.org/britishswimming/). Both double up as test events for the London 2012 Games.

The London Prepares series is made up of 42 elite athlete competitions in London 2012 venues to test vital areas of LOCOG's operations, focused on the Field of Play, results, scoring and timing systems, and its people.
