FINA partners with Globosat TV in Brazil

Lausanne (SUI), August 4, 2014 - FINA is pleased to announce the partnership with TV network Globosat for the broadcasting rights in the Brazilian territory from 2015 to 2022. This agreement comprises the following FINA competitions:

- FINA World Championships in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021

- FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) in 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022

- FINA Diving World Cup in 2018, 2020 and 2022

- FINA Synchronised Swimming World Cup in 2018 and 2022

"Brazil is a very solid FINA partner and its importance in the Aquatic world is reinforced by this partnership. Rio de Janeiro will stage in 2016 the Olympic Games and the added-value our Aquatic disciplines are bringing to the programme of the Games will create a renovated dynamic of our Sport in this immense country", considered FINA President Dr. Julio C. Maglione. "This is why FINA highly considers and values this agreement with Globosat, a highly respected media network in Brazil", concluded Dr. Maglione.
