Homemade tricks to clean the toilet and disinfect it

Of all the spaces in our house, one of the most used on a daily basis is the bathroom, and being more precise, the odorless. This is one of the elements that gets dirty quickly, can generate stains on the material and unpleasant odors. Although we use resources that save us from the moment, such as scented pills, the right thing to do is give it a good cleaning, since being close to our private parts, we can adopt bacteria or infections.

There are some natural methods that are maintained over time for their effectiveness. There are others that gather chemicals that emit very strong odors. In the following lines we are going to explain what are the best tricks to clean the toilet and disinfect it in its entirety.

If you don't have much time, it is recommended to have a fixed day or two in the week to be able to clean this room of the house, including accessories and additional items.

HOW TO CLEAN THE TOILET PROPERLY?

- The first thing you should know is that you need some elements to start cleaning, such as cloths or wipers with a long neck. It is preferable that you have a tool for the inside and another for the outside, this way, we will not contaminate the area. Please note that these products must be washed and disinfected when you finish using them.

- Let's make a homemade formula. With supplies we have at home we can make a solution to clean the bottom and exterior of the toilet. It will be enough to use water, bathroom detergent and a little bleach or any other specific cleaner.

- If you do not want to use substances that are very aggressive, you can make a mixture with equal parts of vinegar, baking soda and water. Then, with a brush with strong bristles we are going to brush the area very well and rinse a couple of times.

- To clean the bottom, mix half a glass of white vinegar with two tablespoons of baking soda and the juice of one lemon. We will spread this on the walls and let it act for a few minutes before we start brushing. Finally, we make a flush so that the surface is rinsed.

- If we want to clean the accessory where we sit, we can support ourselves with some cloths that we have previously soaked them in a solution consisting of disinfectant and water. Remember that you should do it at the top and bottom where tartar and dirt usually gather.

HOW TO UNCLOG THE BATHROOM?

If you had to go through a moment like this and you didn't know how to solve it, here are some solutions you can try for a next time.

- The first is to make a mixture between vinegar and baking soda in equal parts. We'll flush this one down the toilet and make a flush to unblock it. They also advise the use of liquid dishwashers.

- If the problem persists, we will go to one of the homemade tricks that are still used despite the passage of time. We'll look for a thick wire or a clothes hanger. We will open it and on one of the ends we will tie a cloth. If it is not fixed, lean on with some adhesive tape. We are going to introduce this through the bowl and we will make pressure so that the waste comes off and continues to move down the drain.

- Another method of unclogging the drain has elements that we have at home. Let's use a pot with heated water, it's better if it's freshly boiled. We'll flush it down the toilet and add a cup of baking soda and two cups of white vinegar. An hour later, once the water is down, clean the toilet regularly. You can perform this process twice to ensure that it is fully unlocked.
