On the other hand, the amendments to the constitution proposed by García Sepulveda include the addition of 36 articles and were already approved by Congress in the first round. However, it is a proposal that has not yet received final approval from congressmen.

In this regard, the governor expressed through social networks: “Now, taking advantage of the fact that we are here, Congress approved the new constitution of Nuevo León in the first round, now we all continue to review it, study it, discuss it so that in a few months Congress will receive, discuss and approve the final version.”
Previously, in person, he had spoken about the dissemination work he plans to carry out to publicize his proposal. He stated that he will inform the inhabitants of the entity with videos, tables and forums in which they will explain the changes he intends to make.

It is worth mentioning that the presentation of an initiative to amend the Magna Carta was announced by Samuel García since December last year when, as part of the celebration of the 104th anniversary of the publication of the document, he pointed out that the current system is outdated, disorderly, submissive, and lacking updating in accordance with the situation that the entity is experiencing.
