Insurgentes Norte closed due to gas pipe fire

Authorities in Mexico City warned about the fire of a gas pipe on Insurgentes Norte Avenue, near the whereabouts of Indios Verdes, so the highway was closed to vehicular traffic in both directions.

Road Guidance Center of the Ministry of Citizen Security of Mexico City (OVIAL) reported on what happened through its Twitter account:

Staff from the Ministry of Citizen Security (SSC) deployed a strong security device at the site to attend to the fire and ensure the protection of passers-by who are near the site; entity firefighters moved to the scene to try to extinguish the flames.

According to the first reports, the whereabouts of Indios Verdes have been evicted by the authorities of the capital, where the terminals of Line 3 of the metro, Line 1 of the Metrobus, and of trucks and transports that connect to the north of the city with the State of Mexico and Hidalgo are located.
