Dayro Moreno, born in Chicoral (Tolima), is one of the most outstanding scorers in the last 19 years in Colombian professional football. However, it is not a secret that in addition to her taste for scoring on the opposite network she also likes the night.

At 36, Dayro Moreno continues to make a difference in local rental, the former Xolos from Tijuana from Mexico lives a great present with Atlético Bucaramanga under the command of Armando 'Piripi' Osma in the Dimayor Betplay League.

This is not the first time that the player has been involved in this type of controversy, since at the beginning of the year several Colombian football clubs refused to hire him because of his disciplinary background.

After confirming his signing with Atletico Bucaramanga, Dayro Moreno was happy to have a new opportunity in the Betplay League.

As a professional, he made his debut in 2003 with Once Caldas de Manizales, a team of which he is a fan and where he has had several cycles. With the 'White-White' he scored a total of 97 goals and 24 assists and was part of the roster that won the Copa Libertadores in 2004.

In addition, from Once and Bucaramanga, Dayro Moreno has worn three more coats in Colombia: Junior from Barranquilla, Millonarios and Atlético Nacional. He has been a seven-time scorer in Colombian football and was crowned champion of the league in 2003 and 2010 with Once Calas and in 2017 with the 'King of Copas' with which he also won the Copa Suramericana in 2017 and the Copa Colombia in 2018.

At the international level he played for Xolos from Tijuana (Mexico), Steaua Bucharest (Romania), Athetico Paranaense (Brazil), Talleres de Córdoba (Argentina) and Oriente Petrolero (Bolivia).

With the Colombia National Team he was part of the qualifying process for South Africa 2010 and Brazil 2014. His most remembered goal with the 'Tricolor' was the one he scored for Argentina in 2007 in the 2-1 qualifying victory at El Campín.

For now, the striker will have to recharge batteries for the next Atletico Bucaramanga match that will be precisely against Once Caldas, the team of his loves.
