Every month pensioners and retirees attached to the Institute of Social Security and Services of State Workers (ISSSTE) or the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) receive their pension payments.
The pension is an economic benefit that in the case of retired persons must meet a number of requirements according to the IMSS or ISSSTE, in both institutes the amount of unemployment in old age and old age is determined by the individual account.
Payment of the ISSSTE pension
Each year ISSSTE publishes its Schedule of Payments to Pensioners and Retirees in which they report that the pension deposit is made on the last working day of the previous month, that is, the payment for the current month was made in February.
In the case of the April payment, it will be made on Thursday, March 31, 2022 to just over 1.2 million seniors. According to information on the dates set by ISSSTE, the first half of this year's bonus will be granted in the first half of November and the rest will be awarded until January 2, 2023.
When will retirees from the IMSS receive their payment?
* The IMSS noted that the pension deposit is made on the first working day of each month. That is why the fourth payment of the year will be available on Friday, April 1.
* If the date of the deposit falls on mandatory holidays then they make the payment on the last day of the previous month.
* The IMSS does not publish a payment schedule for pensioners and retirees, so to know all the dates of dispersion when there is a holiday you will have to go to the corresponding delegation.
What to do if you have problems with the deposit?
* Those who have any problems with their pension payment in April 2022, can contact an adviser:
* For those who receive it from the IMSS, you must call the telephone number 800 623 23 23 in option 3 for pensioners or go to the Family Medicine Unit (UMF) or subdelegation that corresponds to you, the opening hours are from 8:00am to 3:00pm, there you can request uncollected payments, for this must be proven that they have not been withdrawn.
