Different personalities from the entertainment industry and activists came together last Tuesday to launch themselves against one of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador's star projects: the Maya Train. However, the president did not seem to like the Sélvame Del Tren campaign and during his morning conference he lashed out at the participants calling them “conservatives” and “ fifis”.
Among the actors, actresses, influencers and singers who joined the campaign was the vocalist of Cafe Tacvba, Rubén Albarrán, who has stood out for his activism in different causes in the country. For his part, Chumel Torres took advantage of the situation to once again criticize the actions of the president and his administration through their social networks.
“They already called Rubén Albarrán conservative. The 4T is more treacherous than watermelon at night,” the driver of El Pulso de la República posted on his official Twitter account.

Through social media videos, artists such as Omar Chaparro, Eugenio Derbez, Natalia Lafourcade, Kate del Castillo, Barbara Mori and Rubén Albarran joined the campaign Sélvame Del Tren, which occurred due to the modification of Section 5 South of the railway track, which, according to him, would destroy the largest underground river system in the world and with them flora and fauna.
In addition, they accused that the changes were made without consulting citizens or carrying out the respective impact studies.
“We are not their opponents, we are Mexican and we want life for all of us,” Rubén Albarrán is heard saying in the video. In the same way, he invited the president to tour the area and listen to experts who have conducted environmental studies on the impact of the Maya Train on the site.

For years, Rubén Albarrán has been active in favor of environmental care, highlighting causes such as land defense, water care and animal exploitation. He has also demonstrated his support for social movements such as #YoSoy132 or the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN) on several occasions.
Although both Café Tacvba's vocalist and Andrés Manuel López Obrador initially shared certain ideologies and causes, throughout his six-year term Rubén Albarrán has admitted to losing confidence in the president and even has questioned his intentions with regard to various initiatives of the president.
However, the activist has not been the only one engaged in criticizing the actions of the Fourth Transformation, because if there is someone who spends much of his time and energy doing so, he is precisely the influencer. Chumel Torres.

Throughout his six-year term Andrés Manuel López Obrador has had a large number of opponents, but only a few have made him uncomfortable enough to even show them during his morning lectures, including Chumel Torres.
Although the strong comments and criticisms of the Chihuahua influencer have gotten him into trouble on several occasions, Chumel Torres continues to take every opportunity to criticize the administration of the current government of Mexico.
With the inauguration of the new Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), the situation was no different, since the influencer not only criticized the appearance of the work and the small influx of people, but even added to the controversy they caused. the joke of Beatriz Gutiérrez Müller and the grape harvest inside the premises.
“If this is a finished airport, then the Mayan Train is going to be six carriages with people on skates, hand,” Chumel Torres wrote in a Twitter message accompanied by photos of the new Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA).
