President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) assured that his government will not intervene in the accusations that his former legal counsel, Julio Scherer, pointed out against Olga Sánchez Cordero, president of the Senate, and the Attorney General, Alejandro Gertz Manero.

The president recalled that this controversy corresponds to the judicial nature, in addition to ensuring that his presidential agenda prioritizes other issues: “We don't want to participate in that,” he exclaimed from his morning conference.
