San Juan, 20 Mar The Puerto Rican reggaeton duo of Wisin and Yandel announced this Sunday their twelfth and thirteenth performances at the Puerto Rico Coliseum in San Juan, achieving a mark there, as part of their upcoming tour “The Last Mission”. The presentations, which will take place on December 29th and 30th at the island's main entertainment venue, achieve the twelve-act mark that Daddy Yankee offered for his “Con Calma pa'l Choli” tour in 2019. “Thank you Puerto Rico. By popular demand, new features open December 29 and 30,” Wisin and Yandel said in a tweet. The duo has been announcing their performances since last Friday, when they managed to sell a total of nine performances. However, on Saturday they managed to sell several more, until this Sunday they added their twelfth and thirteenth performances, thus breaking the record of their colleague and compatriot Daddy Yankee, when their tour on the island ended on December 30, 2019. Daddy Yankee, self-proclaimed “The Boss” of reggaeton, presented this concert tour at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Puerto Rico, in San Juan, between December 5 and 29, 2019. There were 12 performances in total during those dates, which at that time set a record for concerts for a single artist in the highest performance hall on the island. Likewise, the “Con Calma Pal' Choli” tour became the only record-breaking concert series as it was the highest grossing in Puerto Rico, with more than 170,000 tickets sold in a month. The presentations also included the participation of other world-renowned artists such as Bad Bunny, Luis Fonsi, Ozuna, Wisin and Yandel, Nicky Jam, Anuel AA and Natti Natasha, among others. For their part, Wisin and Yandel's reunion with their Puerto Rican fans will begin on Friday, December 2, after four years of having gathered more than 120,000 compatriots in their concerts performed as part of the “Como Antes” tour. “The Last Mission” is the concert tour produced by Live Nation that will cover 26 cities in the United States starting at the FTX Arena in Miami and ending in Puerto Rico. In addition, it marks the farewell of Wisin and Yandel on the same stage after 19 years as a duo. “Wisin and Yandel were the first artists who gave me the opportunity to produce a show at the Choliseo and today, after more than 25 performances, we are still making history,” said last few days the producer of the shows, Paco López.
