The 2021/22 season is already entering its final stretch, with just under two months to meet the champions of the different leagues in Europe. This also means that according to performance, players will increase or fall in value in the current market, taking into account that the transfer window will officially open in July. Colombians, as has been customary in recent years, could be great protagonists.

There are several national players who have stood out throughout the season, such as Luis Díaz, who was having an excellent season with Liverpool and in the winter market he was signed by Liverpool by Jürgen Klopp for a value close to 60 million euros, this being one of the most expensive transfers in the history of Colombian footballers. The winger has excelled in his arrival in Anfield and has maintained his level, so he could probably add a few million to his transfer value.

James Rodríguez is another of those who, after achieving his highest price in Real Madrid and Bayern Munich (millions of euros), was devalued with great speed, the lack of minutes in his teams, the arrival of Al Rayyan in a less competitive league and injuries have been some of the major causes for which the Colombian has lost value in the market. Despite this, the Colombian steering wheel remains the most expensive player in the Star League in Qatar.

Juan Guillermo Cuadrado has had a season full of ups and downs at Juventus, the start of the season was not as expected, however, the Colombian excelled in several games and was one of the leaders of the playing field. However, the elimination in Champions League and its regular performance in 2022 have caused it to lose value in the market.

On the other hand, there are players who, due to different circumstances, have not been able to stand out this season, such as Duván Zapata. The Colombian striker, who some time ago was in the sights of several European greats, however, a muscle injury has prevented him from being one of the protagonists in Atalanta and has missed several key duels. Its market value was affected by this situation, according to the specialized portal Transfermarkt.

Tottenham's defender Davinson Sanchez has not been able to regain his highest level and in recent seasons some of his performances have been criticized by fans and journalists. In this 2021/22 academic year, the Colombian devalued two million euros and now its market value is 30 million, despite the fact that when he signed with the Spurs, after playing in Ajax, it was valued at 60 million euros.
