The updates to iOS 15.4 are varied, however, one of the most striking ones is that of emojis. No matter how simple it is compared to the other new features, they make users excited and wait for the right moment in a conversation to start using them.
These new emojis add more diversity, including pregnant men of different ethnicities, as well as 15 different handshakes that combine all possible skin colors.
Two heart symbols are also added; one made by both hands and another that joins the thumb and index finger, among other new hand gestures. To this are added 7 new faces ranging from crying to covering your eyes or mouth with your hands.
Among other emojis, it adds a mouth biting the lower part of the lip, a troll that will be useful to use on social networks when someone is “trolling”, as well as a tire, a swing, an identity card, some beans and more, which together add up to 37 new emojis.

To start using the new emojis it is necessary for the user to install iOS 15.4 on the iPhone, iPad. Although they are only for Apple for now, the other operating systems shouldn't take long to do their thing and add them to your library.
In 2018, Apple launched a feature on its iPhones with facial recognition, which are memojis. They are personalized animated emojis of each user, with details such as hair color, freckles or moles. The animation imitates the gestures that the person makes. Memojis are made from Apple's Messages app.
Before the pandemic, Apple had integrated Face ID into its mobile devices, however, this security option was no longer useful when everyone was forced to wear face masks.

Two years after daily use of masks, Apple launched a new Face ID that solves the problem. The screen of the iPhone or iPad can now be unlocked with the mask on for the convenience of users.
The new facial recognition unlocking option with face masks is integrated into the iOS 15.4 update, whose beta was released on January 27 and is available this spring.
“It is able to recognize the unique features around the eye” to unlock without having to remove the mask in public places where there may be risks of contagion.

It should be noted that to use this function it will be necessary to update facial recognition by redoing the scanner from the iOS settings and following the prompts. The option can be turned on or off at any time.
In addition, MacRumors pointed out that Apple will integrate the option “Add lenses” to the Face ID, so that it can recognize the iPhone user wearing a mask and glasses. It is noteworthy that it does not include sunglasses. Even with the new built-in options, Apple warns that Face ID is more accurate when using the full face for recognition.
The bad news is that the Face ID update will only be available for iPhone 12 and 13, as well as the most recent iPad, so all users of old models will still not take advantage of the Face Unlock tool.
