Jorge Carrascal, sad for the not called to the national team, asks for greater opportunity for players of the recent Olympic Qualifying Team

Jorge Carrascal is one of the players called to be part of the replacement in the Colombia national team, however, his irregularity in recent seasons has led him away from this possibility. The talented attacker returned to Europe to play with CSKA Moscow from Russia, there he quickly earned a place in the starting roster.

Now, on the occasion of the recent call of Reinaldo Rueda to the Colombia national team for the matches, the player spoke with the VBar de Caracol Radio where, apart from telling details of his new life in Russia, he regretted not being called by the vallecaucano coach despite having a process in the national team from the lower divisions:

The attacker also spoke on behalf of the players who took part in the recent Colombia-based football qualifier that defined the qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games football tournament. From that team that did not get a good result and was led by Arturo Reyes, players such as Eduard Atuesta, Nicolás Benedetti and Jorge Carrascal stood out, however, the only one that won a place in the senior team is Carlos Cuesta:

Finally, Carrascal gave some peace of mind for his stay in Russia, amid the invasion of this country to Ukraine. According to the Cartagenero, especially in his new team, they have supported and accompanied foreigners so that they are calm and do not feel their integrity at risk:
