Buenos Aires, 15 Mar The comedy series “Almost Happy”, one of Netflix's biggest bets in Argentina, will premiere its second season on April 13, as reported on Tuesday the US producer. Written and starring Sebastián Wainraich, this semibiographical series was a great success after its premiere two years ago, humorously exposing the contradictions faced by its main character, who was not happy despite having an almost perfect life. The main obstacles to finding that well-being were the complicated relationship with his ex-wife, played by Natalie Pérez, as well as a long list of insecurities typical of adulthood. On this occasion, the series returns to deepen Sebastian's social and emotional conflicts (that of fiction): more problems with his ex-partner, his children, his brother, his co-workers and, “above all things”, with himself, as Netflix explained in a press release. In addition to Sebastian Wainraich and Natalie Pérez, the other protagonists will be played by Santiago Korovsky, Peto Menahem, Lucas Wainraich, Sofía Guerschuny Pesci and Miguel Ángel Podesta. There will also be special guests such as Carla Peterson, Benjamin Amadeo, Julieta Díez, Diego Gentile and Adriana Aizemberg, among others. “Almost Happy” is one of the most popular Argentine series on Netflix, a place that it shares with other works from the South American country such as “El marginal”.
