During the framework of the 8M, in the second week of March, some allegations against singer-songwriter Edgar Oceransky went viral after a user published several audios in which the artist allegedly confirms that he is attracted to minors.

After this situation, during the afternoon of March 14, the Mexican troubadour claimed that the accusations against him are false and spoke about the controversial audios that were recorded in one of his shows 13 years ago, this through a statement on his social networks.

Within the proclamation, the singer born in Mexico City assured in the first two paragraphs that it is a “sketch”, so he asked those who pointed it out, not to decontextualize the subject in order to discredit it.

(The sketch) which, like any stage work, enters the field of fiction and they have wanted to make it look like a confession of a crime that I have never committed and of which I have never been accused by any person in any legal instance,” he stressed in the statement.

Later, he described it as “unjustified” that the situation caused most of the concerts of his Estoy Aquí 20 years tour to have been canceled due to accusations, noting that the decision affects the economic situation of various families who collaborate with him.

It should be recalled that after the controversy, some of its dates, such as that of the National Auditorium of Mexico City for last Friday, March 11, at the Diana Theater in Guadalajara and at the Josefa Ortiz Auditorium in Domínguez in Querétaro, were canceled due to the controversy in which the 46-year-old interpreter was involved.

In his proclamation, Oceransky assured that he will resort to legal bodies to give evidence that supports his legitimacy: “I clarify these points with the firm intention of defusing this slander, which has affected not only me, but my family, my collaborators and friends, but above all my audience, which for more than two decades has been with me.”

In the comments, several users were annoyed by the position of the Mexican troubadour and lashed out against him after describing the violence that normalizes in his alleged sketch as “fiction” as revictimizing the user who decided to point it out.

In the answer box you can see different positions regarding Edgar Oceransky's theme: “I don't think it's fun to do a 'sketch' of something that 13 years ago was already a CRIME like pederasty”, “Edgar you're not funny to do a sketch” and “Why do a “sketch” about sexual abuse? Did it make you funny?” , are some of the comments on Twitter.

The allegations of sexual harassment against Edgar Oceransky were shared by user Anhelé on Twitter, who through her account shared audios in which the singer-songwriter allegedly reveals his taste for underage teenagers when the young woman was 16 years old.

“I went to Spain to give some concerts, it occurred to me to talk about one of my preferences, I like diversity, right? I'm not afraid, I like diversity, but my deepest preference is teenage girls, right? That they still have the face of public ministry, yes, look it is better to go to the boat for a little girl than for the breathalyzer, I know what I tell you. And the girls you see, name, well feminists told me: 'but uncle, how is it possible that you like 16′ and I from 'your boyfriend also likes them just that they don't leave him in your country, that's the difference'”, were the alleged words of Oceransky in the audio that the Internet user shared on Twitter.
