Le COJO Paris 2024 le sait depuis le premier jour. Il le savait même avant de pousser pour la première fois la porte de ses locaux du 8ème arrondissement parisien : il ne lui sera pardonné aucun écart de conduite, surtout sur la question des finances. Un rapport de la Cour des comptes est venu le lui rappeler cette semaine.

Le document pèse son poids de remarques, de chiffres et de recommandations. Pas moins de 137 pages. Il a été rédigé au terme d’un contrôle sur place et sur pièces, réalisé entre octobre 2019 et septembre 2020. Sans grande surprise, il a fuité dans les médias. Le Canard Enchaîné, notamment, en a fait ses choux gras. Avec ce titre sans nuance : « Les dispendieux du stade en piste pour Paris 2024 ».

Seul ennui, mais de taille : le document dont plusieurs médias ont eu connaissance n’est rien de plus qu’une ébauche d’un rapport attendu seulement pour le début de l’année prochaine. Il s’agit seulement d’un texte provisoire, un rapport d’observations. Il y manque les éléments de contradiction apportés par le COJO Paris 2024.
