Groups and schedules of the last two Baseball Olympic Qualifiers will be determined by a draw. Watch live on 20 November the making of groups and schedule of the 8-team Baseball America Qualifier, and the schedule of the Last Olympic Qualifier. The draw will be held at Hotel Agora Regency Sakai, in Japan, on the eve of the 3rd WBSC Congress.
The draw will determine the groups and schedule of the WBSC Baseball Americas Qualifier 2019, qualification event for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The Americas Qualifier will be contested by eight national teams in Arizona, USA, from 22-26 March, 2020. The participating national teams are: Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, USA and Venezuela.
The draw will also define the schedule of the Last Olympic Qualifier, to be held in Taichung, Taiwan, from 1-5 April. The participating teams will be China, Chinese Taipei, the Netherlands, 2nd and 3rd place in the Americas Qualifier, and the top team from the Oceania Pre Qualifier.
The winners of both qualifiers will join Japan (host team), Israel (Europe/Africa), Mexico (Premier12) and Korea (Premier12) in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games baseball competition.
