Following consultations between the different bodies such as ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation) and World Skate involved in the organisation of "READY STEADY TOKYO – Shooting" and "READY STEADY TOKYO - Skateboarding", the decision has been made to postpone these events. The shooting event (originally scheduled for 26-30 April) will now be held from 17-21 May at the Asaka Shooting Range and the skateboarding event (originally scheduled for 28-29 April) will be held from 13-14 May at the Ariake Urban Sports Park.

Carrying out these events is greatly important for preparation of the Tokyo 2020 Games, and the participation of overseas stakeholders in these events is a key element. In order to ensure the best level of preparations for these test events and for the Tokyo 2020 Games, and considering the schedule of each stakeholder under the current global COVID-19 conditions, it was felt that postponing the events was a necessity.

We will keep working closely together with all stakeholders to deliver a safe and secure Tokyo 2020 Games.

Accordingly, Tokyo 2020 has updated its test event calendar as of today 15 March 2021.

The latest test event calendar is attached and also can be found on our website;
